Brave New World

Finally found time to finish a book, proper. actually more like having no distraction and i could really read with a stress-free mind and mood =)

Brave New World. actually i thought that after PH1102E i would no longer keep in touch with modern philosophy and its discussion.. surprisingly when i picked this up at the bookstore, i had vague idea of what it’s about.. selecting it only after reading its general plot, a plot about a different world, a carefully engineered world. yet it presented philosophical ideas..

personally the ideas presented in this world are scary, and i’m semi-excited to find a familiar scenario with the experience machine.. only in the form of a drug.

despite this “creepy” world encounter, the book has opened new insights to ideas i never thought of previously and it’s a nice feeling to be able to immerse in the world of stories. again.
